German delegation represented with Gabriele Hermani, the head of the relations service of the Ministry of Education and Research of the Federal Republic of Germany; Oliver Pieper, the representative of the ministry; Mechthild Kohler the head of the international relations department of the German Research Foundation, and John Grunewald, representative of the German Aerospace Center have visited the G. Eliava Institute of Bacteriophages, Microbiology and Virology. They got acquainted with the activities of Eliava Institute, visited training laboratories, library, museum, as well as authorized Eliava pharmacy and phage therapy center. The visit was also about development of future mutual cooperation, as well as discussing the possibilities for promotion and approval of phage therapy in Europe.
