Delegation from the Walter Reed Army Institute (WRAIR) visited G. Eliava Institute of Bacteriophages, Microbiology and Virology. The delegation included Colonel, Medical Specialist Corps of US Army Chad Koenig, Chief Science Officer, Dr. Karen Peterson and other official military and medical personnel of WRAIR. Dr. Mzia Kutateladze, director of the Eliava Institute presented information about history, current and planned scientific research activities and projects of the Eliava Institute. Possible directions of collaboration between the WRAIR and the Eliava Institute in future was discussed during the meeting.
