The Conference on Bacteriophages: Biology, Dynamics, and Therapeutics, held on October 12–14, 2025, in Washington, DC, brought together global investigators, scientists, and clinicians to discuss the latest advances in bacteriophage science and therapeutic development. Acting director of the Eliava Institute, Dr. Mzia Kutateladze, and Head of Scientific Council Sophio Rigvava attended the conference and presented the Institute’s ongoing research activities. Conference on Bacteriophages highlighted recent progress in bacteriophage science aimed at developing phage-based solutions against antibiotic resistance.
