The scientists of the G.Eliava Institute of Bacteriophages, Microbiology and Virology attended the international scientific conference “Viruses of Microbes 2022” (VoM 2022), which was held on July 18-22, in city of Guimaraes, Portugal.
The latest scientific achievements in biology of bacterial viruses were presented in the conference. One of the main topics of the conference was importance of bacteriophages in food technology, veterinary, environmental protection and phage therapy.
About 700 participants from 48 countries have attended the conference. The scientists of the Eliava Institute presented poster reports of scientific results of various ongoing projects.
