On January 31st, the Eliava Institute was hosting delegation from the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR). The group of guests include Col. Eli Lozano, Commander, Col Mara Kreishman-Deitrick, PhD, Deputy Commander, Command Sergeant Major Donald Gross, Col. Mathew Scherer, Maj. Thomas Musich and other representatives of the WRAIR.

Director of the Eliava Institute, Dr Mzia Kutateladze presented information about the Eliava Institute, its activity, projects and future plans. Constraints, challenges and future perspectives of phage application and legal approval have been discussed during the meeting. The guests visited scientific and training laboratories, library and museum of the Institute, as well as Eliava phage therapy center.
