Medical doctor Tristan FERRY, Head of service of Infectious and Tropical Diseases of the Croix-Rousse Hospital and his colleagues visited G. Eliava Institute of Bacteriophages, Microbiology and Virology. Dr Ferry successfully uses phage therapy in his practice to treat implant-associated infectious complications. Together with French guests, we hosted Armenian doctor: Shahane Mnatsakanyan, Deputy Director of the Wigmore Clinic, also the Microbiologist from the same hospital. The main goal of the visit was to share information on Eliava Institute’s experience inphage applications, to promote phage therapy and develop future cooperation.
