The Eliava Institute’s director, Dr Mzia Kutateladze and Leading scientist of laboratory of Microbial Ecology, Nino Janelidze, attended the 7th International Bacteriophage Meeting on November 8 to 16th in Nanjing, China. Dr Kutateladze had the oral presentation on Eliava Institute’s experience and perspectives in phage therapy. During the conference, both scientists had several important meetings with the scientists from different institutes and universities from China, US, Australia.   

Dr. Kutateladze also visited the phage-product developing company CreatiPhage in Shanghai, also she had an oral presentation in Beijing, at the Institute of Microbiology of the Chinese National Academy of Sciences.
