Memorandum of Cooperation between the G.Eliava Institute of Bacteriophages, Microbiology and Virology and M. Iashvili Central Children's Hospital

A Memorandum of Cooperation has been signed between the G. Eliava Institute of Bacteriophages, Microbiology and Virology and the M. Iashvili Central Children's Hospital on July 30th, 2026

The memorandum was signed by Mzia Kutateladze, Acting Director of the G. Eliava Institute of Bacteriophages, Microbiology and Virology, and Tamar Vakhtangadze, Director of M. Iashvili Central Children's Hospital.

The primary objective of the partnership is to strengthen scientific research and practical collaboration through the implementation of joint research projects, the exchange of knowledge and expertise, the promotion of professional development, and the introduction of innovative approaches.

The memorandum provides a framework for cooperation in organizing and implementing joint scientific projects, educational and training activities, conferences, workshops, and other professional initiatives.

This partnership represents another important step toward strengthening the connection between scientific research and clinical practice and is expected to foster new opportunities for advancing bacteriophage research and expanding its medical applications in Pediatrics.
